Violation of Oath
On February 9th 2024, it was revealed that Dr. Lamb discussed her testimony, while still under oath, with Dr. Blake. She then submitted an email indicated she asked him questions about petechiae.
- Dr. Lamb emailed Dr. Blake 1/25/24 while under oath to ask questions she should have known the answer to. Ann and Abram and then AG submitted this including a consoling statement from Dr. Blake to Dr. Lamb about what she was having to go through.
Testimony About Thoroughness
- Dr. Lamb stated erroneous conclusions from the report “those who don’t cruise rarely bruise” claiming infants that age “don’t bruise”.(1/25/24)
- Dr. Lamb altered the name of the study to "Those who don't cruise, rarely bruise, don't bruise" (1/25/23)
- Dr. Lamb testified there was no skull fracture diagnosis multiple times. (1/25) but was then pointed out by Attorney Chris Torrone that reports show there was.
SL:” A lot of my ER colleagues don’t have time to spend with families, whereas mine can take hours.” (1/25) then testified she observed Winona for “over an hour” (1/25) then later the same day stated she met with family “30-45 minutes, I don’t recall exactly” and then later the same day “an examination of an infant can take just a couple of minutes” (1/25);
Misleading Testimony about Interviewing Grandparents
In the morning of 1/25 Dr. Lamb testified that she meets with families, but did not meet with anyone other than Annie and Abram prior to her report and overstated the length of time.
In questioning about her diagnosis, she was asked if she met with Grandparents and she responded that she did but did not ethically disclose that it was after she had submitted her diagnosis.
Later the same day she referred to a 2nd meeting that occurred at 4:00 pm well after she had already submitted her report and never disclosed this while describing erroneously the story the Paternal grandmother gave when all the grandmother did was complain that no one had interviewed her.
She stated that both sets of Grandparents were in the meeting when Maternal Grandmother never was and Paternal Grandmother only walked in at the end to express outrage that she had never been interviewed.
